Beauty House Calls Aren’t Just For Celebrities Anymore

Get your own beauty squad!

At one point in time, beauty house calls (think hair and makeup services that come to you) were reserved for celebrities, socialites and those of super elite status. But all of that has changed, as the indulgent service has taken more of a mainstream turn. Women want convenience, especially done in the luxury of their own homes, even if it costs more.

Joshua Lee Melton of Joshua Lee Beauty℠, Co-founder & partner of America’s new AT-HOME beauty concierge service called House Call Beauty℠, Josh explains that while house calls can encompass an element of luxury, the main reason why they’re becoming de rigueur is for the simple fact that, “it is nice to be able to relax in your home and get services that make you feel good.” Everything from a manicure and a blowout to hair color and makeup are on the menu—some even offer at-home waxing, facials and spray tanning. “People who get our services are generally time-pressed and see this as more of a convenience that helps simplify their lives a little.”

As time continues to become more of a precious commodity, and daily life becomes more demanding and stressful, there’s something nice about knowing that no matter what time of day it is, or what you need done, you can have it brought to you—never to stress again about being late to an appointment, or even canceling one, because life got in the way.

Warm Regards,
